KEEP YOUR
ENGINE
MOVING.
Regular oil and filter service helps protect the engine, reduce friction, control heat and keep your vehicle performing the way it should.
BOOK AN OIL CHANGE →
YOUR ENGINE
DEPENDS ON IT.
Engine oil creates a protective layer between moving internal components. Over time, heat, contamination and normal engine operation can cause the oil to lose some of its ability to protect those components.
An oil change removes the old oil and replaces it with fresh oil and a new filter when applicable.
WHAT THE OIL
ACTUALLY DOES.
REDUCES FRICTION
Oil separates moving metal components and helps reduce direct contact between them.
HELPS CONTROL HEAT
Engine oil helps carry heat away from certain internal components as it circulates.
CARRIES CONTAMINANTS
Oil holds suspended contaminants so the filter can capture many of them as the oil circulates.
HELPS PROTECT COMPONENTS
Proper lubrication helps protect bearings, camshafts, timing components and other moving parts.
WHAT HAPPENS
DURING SERVICE?
INSPECT
We inspect the vehicle and check for obvious leaks or conditions that may need attention.
DRAIN
The existing engine oil is drained from the engine and properly collected.
FILTER
The oil filter is replaced when included with the selected service and application.
REFILL
The engine receives the correct oil type and quantity specified for the vehicle.
CHECK
Oil level and service-related conditions are checked before completing the service.
YOUR CAR
MAY BE
ASKING FOR OIL.
OIL CHANGE REMINDER
Your vehicle may display a maintenance reminder when service is due.
LOW OIL LEVEL
A low oil level can reduce the amount of lubrication available to engine components.
OIL PRESSURE WARNING
An oil pressure warning can indicate a serious condition. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's guidance and address it promptly.
OIL LEAK
Visible oil around the engine or underneath the vehicle may indicate a leak that needs diagnosis.
UNUSUAL ENGINE NOISE
New or unusual engine noises should be inspected rather than assuming an oil change alone will fix them.
NOT ALL
OIL IS THE SAME.
The correct oil depends on the vehicle and engine. Always follow the manufacturer's specified viscosity and performance requirements.
CONVENTIONAL
Traditional engine oil used in some applications. Vehicle specifications should always determine whether it is appropriate.
FULL SYNTHETIC
Engineered for demanding applications and commonly specified for many modern engines.
SYNTHETIC BLEND
A combination of conventional and synthetic base oils used in applications where specified.
HIGH-MILEAGE
Formulated for certain older or higher-mileage engines. It should still meet the manufacturer's requirements.
